Our 3rd class have been weaving as part of their Visual Arts Programme. We went to see what happens in a Weaving Mill today. We felt the various types of wool used to make the blankets and scarves in Foxford. We saw the looms in action. It’s a very noisy place to work. We saw all the beautiful coloured threads that are used to weave the blankets. Thanks to Rachel, our tour guide. We had a lovely visit, learned alot about weaving and saw some of the wonderful blankets that are exported throughout the world. Here are some of the photos we took during our visit.
