We welcome our Junior Infants who started school with us on Thursday August 30. Here they are getting down to work.
On Friday June 22nd, our 5th and 6th classes formed groups and set off around the town of Swinford and its surrounds to gather litter. We found that cigarette butts are the main source of litter in Swinford at the moment.
On a glorious Thursday evening, June 21st 2018, our present 6th class celebrated their graduation with parents and families. Best wishes to all of you on your educational journeys, we will miss you! Come back and let us know how you are doing because we love to hear how our past pupils are getting along! Be happy, work hard, be kind and stay forever young!
On Thursday June 21st we held our second Interschool Gaelic Blitz in the Amenity pitch and the McCallion pitch amid glorious sunshine. Swinford, Meelick, Midfield, Culmore and Carramore schools took part. Three cheers for all the support we got from trainers and playing members of our local Swinford GAA club – we couldn’t have done it without you all!
Today we all took part in our Parents’ Council Sponsored Walk and after this we had our Green Flag Raising Ceremony. This is our 7th Green Flag for the theme Global Citizenship and Energy.

Today our 5th and 6th classes celebrated National Bike Week 2018 with a 7km cycle around Swinford and the Golf Course.
